Carl Ellison

Many folks in Greensboro know Carl Ellison as the friendly face of the Greensboro Coliseum. He was one of the staff managers there after he had retired from Cone Mills.

Carl passed away Wednesday.

There will be a visitation and celebration of life service will follow the burial from 1 until 3 p.m. Saturday at the Greensboro Coliseum Auditorium. Online condolences may be made to www.forbisanddick.com.

Carl was a dear friend to the Greensboro Hockey Booster Club. They have canceled this month’s meeting in deference to the celebration of Carl’s life Saturday.

  1. Having the honor of working with him for almost a decade at the coliseum, I know how he loved his hockey. Thanks Don for the mention of “Mr. Carl.”
