It was reported in Monday’s edition of the Greensboro News and Record that NC State running back and former Ragsdale standout Toney Baker suffered a knee injury during the Pack’s 25-23 loss to UCF and will miss the rest of the season.
The team said Sunday that they are hopeful that Baker will be eligible for a medical hardship redshirt due to the injury.
Baker, now a junior at State, is the all-time leading high school rusher in the state of North Carolina. Baker ran for over 10,000 yards in his career at Ragsdale.
