Keith Gatlin has been named by many to be the new boys basketball coach and they are also due to have football, wrestling and several other sports. This will be an elite Academy and is set to have the Top 25 players in our area set to go there if they wish with scholarships available. This Veritas Sports Academy is said to located over off of Beeson Road in Kernersville and it will go after only the top athletes in our area for high school sports.*****

  1. Dudley dominated Southern Lee and beat the Cavaliers 76-60. Why would any team in North Carolina adopt the name and the colors of the University of Virginia? PJ Hairston had another big game for Dudley and he gives them a 1-2 combination with Brandon Pennix that will be hard to stop.

Hairston may only be a freshman but this kid can do so much. He is better than William Graves was back when William was starting as a freshman for the Panthers. Hairstson is smoother from 3-p0int range than William was and he has a special chemistry with Pennix.

I hope this Hairston kid doesn’t leave High School early. You never know these days.

Hairston is #12 and Pennix is #1. Watch out for these two.
