It will be Football in Focus TONIGHT at Shane’s Rib Shack on Westover Terrace.

The LIVE webcast show gets under way at 6pm and we plan to open up with guests from Ragsdale and then bring in some players from Page as we approach their big game this week with Dudley and we also will talking to a few of our visitors from the Dudley Panthers program.

It’s always a lot of fun talking football at Shane’s Rib Shack where they have some of the best food you will EVER eat. Ribs, Chicken, BBQ, vegetables that are out of this world, plus Brunswick Stew and excellent desserts too.

We have Ribs on the plate and HS football on the slate, plus Doug Cockman with the College lineup that has N.C. State-ECU this week and Appalachian State vs. James Madison and many other good ones to talk about. In fact there’s a big game this week in Chapel Hill, with the Tar Heels taking on Virginia Tech, and Wake Forest is going down to Florida to face the Seminoles of Florida State.

Big Jim Modlin will tackle the NFL games on our list for this week as the Carolina Panthers travel to meet the Minnesota Vikings and there will be other big ones coming up with the Packers and the Cowboys set for a Sunday Night Showdown.

That High School grouping again includes Dudley at Page, Grimsley at Ragsdale, Northwest Guilford at Southeast, High Point Andrews vs. High Point Central and many, many, more.

  2. I talked to both parties this week and they did not bring up this topic.

    The way the article reads there seems to be a lot of heat between John and Stan and I have respect for both men. They have always been honest with me and have told me how things will have to go down and that is the bottom line approach.

    I will have to do some more checking on this one before I throw out any major revelations but I’m sure we will have more on this as time allows.

    Never a dull moment in Guilford County Athletics and I have to believe we will hear more in the future on this topic.

  4. Tough subject here. A lot of GC athletic administrators have strong feelings on this subject. Been rumors for a long time but most people consider them that, rumors. It will be curious how this progresses. A lot of things could come public, which might be a good thing. Time for the truth to come out to stop the rumors. Out of fairness to everyone.

  5. These are not rumors there are lots of facts of players playing for Stan that do not live in district, sure they have apartments to make them legal but I think GS.com should go find the truth in this matter.

  6. I’ve heard the same thing but if all this is true then it will come out. I think in this country he’s innocent until proven guilty. All we have right now is rumors. 99% of the time everyone doesn’t have all the facts.

  7. These are not rumors he did the same thing at HP Central and Darrell Force was the AD at Central also, it is just hard to do anything about it with the way the rules are set up in Guilford County.
