I toured the facility myself. It’s very nice. But with teh tough economic times and the difficulties that all country clubs are experiencing, it’s a tough call to drop 2 mil on an indoor tennis facility.
Sedgefield has a new golf course and the Wyndham and membership is up only slightly. Greensboro Country Club has to put there renovation to The Farm course in three phases, and the Cardinal is letting people join for dues only. I realize the facility may help attract a few new members but will it be enough to justify 2 mil?
