ACC teams still in the hunt and Greensboro Coliseum still in business with North Carolina and Duke

The games today with Duke and North Carolina at the Greensboro Coliseum are sold out, but good tickets still remain somewhere over near the dumpster at Stamey’s BBQ.

It should be a lot of fun, especially if the ACC can win both of the games with UNC-LSU and Duke-Texas.

Did you see Fran McCaffery and his Siena Saints knocking off The Ohio State University last night? I listened to the ending on 1530AM FOX Sports radio with JT the Brick and Tom Looney calling the finish on radio, while watching it from the TV. I remember McCaffery when he was at UNCG coaching the Spartans and I did his radio show back around 1999-2000. He has done well and now he is on the big stage and seems happier up there than he did down here. Success has a habit of doing that to you and the National TV audience knows Mr. McCaffery and his Saints pretty well this morning.

Here’s that Saturday ACC lineup we promised you:
Maryland vs Memphis
3:20 PM
Kansas City, Mo. (NCAA Tournament – 2nd Round)
TV: CBS

North Carolina vs. LSU
5:45 PM
Greensboro, N.C. (NCAA Tournament – 2nd Round)
TV: CBS

Duke vs. Texas
8:15 PM
Greensboro, N.C. (NCAA Tournament – 2nd Round)
TV: CBS

  1. The ACC showing its true colors the past 2 days..

Clemson, BC, Wake, Florida State.. all took early exits.

Cleveland St. ran over Wake from tip to final whistle last night.

Not really NCAA related, but Va. Tech is losing right now by almost 30 to a very average Baylor team..

    Big East > ACC
