full report from the Eastern Guilford girl’s win over Morehead on Tuesday….

Eastern Guilford won its conference opener against Morehead 65-50 in Eden, NC. Eastern led from beginning to end and were never challenged. Coach Tina Gunn rested her starters for nearly two quarters after building a 25 point lead. Eastern was led by Kristin Crosby with 17 points and 15 rebounds and Miranda Jenkins who had 8 points, 10 assists, 5 steals. Autumn Rumley a freshmen guard scored 4 points as many of the reserves got significant playing time.
