  1. I have been rooting for NG BBall Men’s team all season.
I hope they go all the way and win thier first State Championship.

    Go Nighthawks

  2. Great wins for Nighthawk Nation. The girls game was won in the 1st qtr. Samantha Coffer was perfect. She hit 17 of her 21pts in the 1st qtr. MH didnt have a chance. Vontreece Hayes contributed 15pts, 15 rebounds. Kelly Tessitore did an awesome job as well.

  3. Vontreece was unbelieveable last night. She got every loose ball, every rebound and she ran the court very well. She gets better every game she plays. I can’t wait to see how she progresses at the next level.

  4. Hey Andy, so last night @ eden-morehead was a great classic conference game. Eastern Guilford made it through an overtime scare. Huffman came alive late in the game and hit the buzzer beater to put them in OT. can you write a summary about this game?

  5. EG-NG boys on Wednesday at NG and I hope to be there for that one and I will try and pull together some info on the EG win from last night….

  6. thanks i would love to read up on that classic game and eg shouldve beat ng both games this year honestly so im stoked bot this matchup 2

  7. Our Lady Knighthawks are the BEAST! We are going to rock and roll through the conference tournament and the state playoffs. We are going to ride the shoulders of the BIG THREE, Samantha, Molly and Kelly.Coach Furlough should be the Triad Coach of the Year! Sorry, Panthers!

  8. Finatic,
You folks must be crazy to think that your just going to run through the conference and through the state. No longer will you be able to dodge teams who will and should beat you. You get no respect from Guilford County because you dodge any and every team that has a winning tradition. Your 2-3 record against Guilford County teams shows that your a pretender. It looks like GDS played more Guilford County school teams than you did. Tell them, they can’t hide forever!!!!

  9. Hey “Finatic” of the “knighthawks”…Apparently you have not been to many games if you think the girls ride the shoulders of Samantha, Molly, and Kelly…. there is plenty of talent on that team beyond those three….look at Vontreece Hayes, Jessica Johnson, Asia Milton…Alexis, Tenisha, Amanda, Ginny…look at the box scores and see how they vary with different leaders in the games….Northern is a GREAT team and they don’t ride on the shoulders of anyone

  10. I agree with “more than three”. The only person calling the “Big Three” is this NG Finatic aka NG FAN. NG girls team are lead by everyone. Everyone contributes on any given night. There has been many nights were Kelly was off, Jess stepped up, when Molly was off, Vontreece stepped up etc etc. There has been games when nobody stepped up. But when you have only lost 5 games, I say that is still a great accomplishment. Only the outsiders try to break down the team chemistry by singling out certain players. But NG girls are a TEAM. Let the girls enjoy their last few games. Some will return next year but there are 4 seniors who are fighting to go out with a BANG! I wish them all good luck!
