High School/College Baseball Bulletin Board for 6/1/11:College recruiting trail, MLB Draft, Father-son duo in NABA

Keaton Haack to Alabama, that was very good news we saw earlier today, for the NWG pitcher….He’s only a junior and Haack will be back for one more high school season, at Northwest Guilford and the question will come up, “Will he still play basketball next season, in his senior year?”

Clint Moore(Grimsley HS) and the US Military Academy at West Point graduate, had a workout this afternoon, at 1pm for the St. Cardinals’ scouts, prior to next Monday’s MLB Draft….The workout took place at Villanova University, in Philadelphia and Clint is set to work out for the New York Mets on Friday at CitiField in New York…..

Josh Tobias(Southeast Guilford HS) worked for the Atlanta Braves last Monday(My 23) in Atlanta, prior to the Draft…..

The Big Time father-son duo, are playing baseball this Summer, in the Greensboro NABA(National Adult Baseball Association) with the Greensboro Tigers….David Nettesheim and his son Matt, are both with the Tigers and David in his late 40’s and Matt at 21, can cover some ground, when the teams cross the white lines….Great to see a Dad and his son playing baseball on the same team/club, in the NABA…..
