High School Scrimmages today along with the NewBridge Bank Jamboree

Dudley down at Burlington Williams with Williams, Cummings and Eastern Alamance and Page at Eastern Guilford……

The Smith Golden Eagles Fab Five will be going on tomorrow afternoon at Ben L. Smith’s Claude Manzi Stadium….Full details in the Saturday morning Greensborosports.com….Smith, High Point Central, Charlotte Christian, High Point Andrews and Southern Durham…..

  1. Cummings has their own jamboree with other Alamance county teams, so it will just be EA, Dudley and Williams. The set-up is a little different because another team dropped out at the last minute this week. Starts at 6 and the schedule is on the EA Ihigh site.

  2. I guess the rain will be our good luck charm this year because the way Page played tonight, it seems like they ran a monsoon on ’em! OK….they started out with the JV and Varsity teams on each side of the 50 yard line. Then, they decided to open it up and THAT’S when Page went all out! The very first three plays, Page gets a 1st and 10. Finally, Drew runs for about 5,000 yards (OK..not that many…maybe 45) to score. I guess Hooker said he wouldn’t be outdone so HE turned RIGHT around and scored. Then James must’ve thought “ya’ll are not gonna clown me later on tonight” so he decides to slip, slide, jook, and throw to connect with Hatfield. They played like this pretty much the entire scrimmage. The final score was 14 – 0 Page. Jordan got a chance to see some action calling the shots and I was impressed but the one that really made me stand up tonight was Workinger! That boy is simply AMAZING!

I’m telling you, people and you can quote me on this…we are in for some exciting football this season!
