Tyler Hunt provides big boost/big boot with career-best field goal in EG Wildcats loss to Western Alamance last Friday night

The final score was 28-3, but Tyler Hunt did get the three for EG, the Eastern Guilford Wilcats that is and it was last Friday night and it was three points on a career-best 47-yard field goal, for the ‘Cats Tyler Hunt…..

That is a big boot/big boost and let’s hope this will boost Hunt’s chances, as he goes on to try and play at the collegiate level next season…..

The 47-yarder might be the longest in our area this season…..I know Brad Davis from Ragsdale has kicked a few long ones and Chad Hollandsworth, from East Forsyth, has connected from 45 yards if my numbers are correct……

Hunt could be on the board for one of the longest field goals in the state this season….Only Don Osborne, over in Thomasville, would know for sure….He has been going the distance for over 50 yards, ‘er, make that 50 years in the kicking business……

  1. The week before againist Rockingham Tyler tried a 52 yard field goal that liked about a yard getting through the goal post. It was on line.
