  1. I really do believe that Scotland County is legit, but Page has taken down (4)Mallard Creek and (7)Butler. I could make the case for Page being #1 over Scotland just by looking at their bodies of work. But, we will never know thanks to the split classifications of our high school football playoffs.

  3. In my opinion, the N.C. Max Preps poll is a very good poll . In other words it’s not a coaches, sportswriters or fan poll. The staff doesn’t make their own judgements either. The Max Prep poll is based on the National Freeman Ratings. .It’s calculated from an enormaous amount of statistical information. They have a top 25 poll , but I have listed only their top ten. This is just another opinion. Go Pirates and Go Nighthawks!!!!
