  1. Congrats to UNC and Rob Lovejoy. I coached Rob when he played baseball at Pleasant Garden when he was 7 and 8 years old.
Great young man and good parents too.

  2. I was thinking about Glen Long when I was running down the road this morning…..I thought that they(Lovejoy and Long) went to UNC from PAGE together, but we always hear a lot about Lovejoy at UNC, but not that much from Long……He was in the thought process this morning, on the ‘The Morning Run’ and as we should say, “Congrates to Glen Long too”…….

  3. Interesting that Ben Speas had played in the two previous NCCA Finals with Akron and won a title with the Zips in 2010…..He must have the made the graduate school transfer change like what we saw with Russell Wilson going from N.C. State to Wisconsin……Speas must have had eligibility left and made the move from Akron to UNC in that manner……With a straight transfer deal, you would think he would have to sit out one year…..Something worked/clicked and more power to the Champs and great news for Greensboro Soccer with the PAGE kids on the NCAA Championship Team…
