  1. Andy, Ragdale combined records of alll 4 Teams this season is: 15-52!
Typically, you have 1 or 2 teams having succesful seasons but this speaks volumes. Time for the New AD Herndon to evaluate this Program! Now people have the nerve and question players leaving???

  2. I attend these ragsdale games. I think some parents think their kids are better than they are. Several of the kids on the team are multi-sport athletes but they are average in those sports too. How many kids on that team train for basketball year ’round? The AD is at the games. He has a son on the team.

  3. How much difference is a new coach going to make? Players are leaving all programs all over the county. It is harder to find a program where the players actually stay. This is not pro sports. Coaches shouldn’t be fired after a couple of bad seasons. Sometimes it is as simple as the talent level is just not there.

  4. Enough! You are right on with your observations and comment! Hopefully Herndon will do right thing!

  5. Ragsdale people are living in some utopia society. They have a great coach and should just be appreciative for his time.

They would need Jay Canty and CJ Plummer and Deuce Bello back in school there to win enough to make them happy.

It is cowardly to post anonymously on a message about your problems.

This is the problem with this board is people posting ridiculous comments when Andy is doing people a service by covering these games.

  6. Yes, I think our job is to help the coaches keep their jobs, not cause them to lose their jobs…..Right now the talent pool may be down at Ragsdale and with a group of young players it will take time and a lot of off-season work to get it back up in line with all the conference teams…..The Ragsdale coaches work hard and I see them out at the games doing their advanced work…..Remember that one year that Roy Williams had at North Carolina ;when he was way down and they did not make the NCAA’s and ended up in the NIT….It took them a year or two to get it back and you have to remember this is high school and not college….So you have a down year, be patient and let things work their way and maybe it will come back around…..There will be down years……
