  1. Smith Girls are “13-7” not 10-7 as listed. They have beaten SE Guilford twice this season and have beaten Western Guilford by 25pts and also beat HP Andrews by 25pts. HOW or maybe the better questions is WHY are they ranked below all these teams???

  2. I got them up to (11-7) and I was going by MaxPreps and I saw where they beat SEG twice and we will do some more checking to try and get them up to that (13-7) and we may have to do some poll shifting…..The other teams ranked above them have been hotter more recently than Smith, although the Eagles win back on Tuesday got them back in order……If Smith beats WG tonight it may be time for a real move…..I have seen Smith play several times this year and just for the game’s sake they didn’t look like they were ready to go over the top in the Dudley games…..Will agree, looked much better in the second Dudley game, the one at Smith last Friday night, but Smith needs for Quon Greer to step up and step out here late in the season…..Brandi Robinson has been carrying the team and nothing wrong with that, but they could use a boost from others too…..Just my opinion and that will not get you into the Hall of Fame….We will be watching for Smith closely tonight and we have been big boosters of the Smith boys the past couple of years and they could be ranked higher, but we are letting the teams mavke their own moves by knocking off other teams, one game at a time….Very good job turned in by Coach Will Perry and Smith, but I know they want to get over the top and haven’t done that quite yet….HPA has been playing much better since they met Smith at Smith back in Nov. I was there for that game too….HPA played well vs. SWG in the Christmas tourney….Smith has the chance to take down WG tongiht, and we will be watching…..

  3. As Rod Stewart and that other gentleman Phil Collins used to say, “Tonight’s the Night”…….

  4. Im sure if you do a little more investigating you’ll find that the Lady Eagles from Smith are 13-7 for sure. I agree with the real deal 4th in the public school poll and 7th in the combined poll seems about right. Every Coach & Player hopes to be undefeated but losses come with the territory. 13-7 is not the best record in the world, considering Smith lost their starting PG, starting PF and 6th man all to acl tears, its not the worst either.

  5. We will do some investigating and thanks for the comments. It is good to see fans and coaches speak out for their teams and players…..
