  1. Yes this is a sad ending to a complex story/life. It may not be a true sports story but Whitney’s singing at the Super Bowl years ago is and likely will continue to be the standard by how all future singers will continue to be judged by for future half time shows. She will be remembered for the bad turns with Bobby and drugs but history will paint her as a troubled icon that was able to more people everywhere that she appeared. While the ending was not story book, it is a tribute to her life that she was able to do something in life that will out live her life.

How many of us will ever do anything that will live beyond our time? Many of us will be forgotten by most within days or weeks of our pasting and by nearly all within a year of death. We will only be a brief thought by our kids on special dates or holidays unless we made a special impact on their lives while we were here. I will close by simply saying that you should consider your impact on those around you and ask if you would be remembered for the life that you created. If the answer is “unknown” or “no”, then you should reconsider the life that you are creating and see what added value you can give to your life and those around you.

  2. She was one of the top male or female singers of our time, there is no doubt….She was a beautiful lady and she made beautiful music….

  3. We have lost a true servant of song. Her music ministered to the heart and soul. Godspeed for those that will be ‘Leaning on the Everlasting Arms’.
