  1. Ronald Curry’s Mooresville team won its game against Gospel Light 87-73. They will face New Garden Friends in Saturday’s Championship game.

The New Garden Friends Bears defeated Community Baptist 93-75 as Keemon Ingram rained down 11 three pointers on his way to a game high 39 points. Keemon’s running mate Kanayo Obi-Rapu Jr. recorded another triple double with 20 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds.

With the boys consolation between Community Baptist and Gospel Light at 12:30, a girls game between New Garden Friends and Community Baptist’s fine girls team at 2:00 and the New Garden Boys and Mooresville Christian taking the stage at 3:30, it should be a good afternoon of high school basketball in the Bears’ Den on the New Garden Friends campus on Pleasant Ridge road.
