  1. EA 5
    Morehead 3
    WP- Zack Littell (7 innings, 3 hits, 5 k’s)
LP- Will McGuire (6 innings, 10 hits)

  2. Northern Guilford had a late spark off of a 3 run homerun by Austin Coltrane although the bat may not have been game appropriate, it didnt seem to matter in the end. The McMichael Phoenix defense was very stout.
    WP: Jeffery Harris
    LP: Shaun Moss

  3. Would have to agree with Mr. Alceras. I was at the game also and it was great game to watch. Hated it for the kids that they had to fight an ever changing strike zone all night long as some were above the belt and some in the dirt. Was happy to see McMichael pull out the win and in the end he is right, that one swing didn’t affect the outcome of the game. Coltrane’s swing was dead on and it was a true shot but we’ve all heard how these bbcor bats sound now and this was nothing close. I’m sure you’ll find that it had the stamp on it and all that but you probably won’t even see that bat appear anymore this year since the ump went to check it. Just keep your ears out for it…because if they do use it I promise you’ll for sure be wondering yourself.

  4. EG-6
    RC-2

Gunn throws all seven for the wildcats and earning the Win.
    David Doyle 1-2 Double
    Hayden Holleman 2-3
    John Robertson 1-2
    Tyler Wolfe 1-3

  5. And how about those Bulldogs from Williams with a big conference road win at a county Rival. They are off to a 5-1good start with only loss coming to McMichael. Keep it going

  6. Good call whsfan. Being from the Phoenix side, would deffinately say you guys have been our biggest test yet. Williams has a good team together that will win their fair share of games this year. Looking forward to the rematch later on.

  7. Seriously Page lost to Smith? I bet the best coaching staff in the Metro (at least in their own minds) were fit to be tied.
