GC Men’s Golf in 5th Out of 32 Teams After Day 2 at Camp Lejeune Intercollegiate

The Greensboro College men’s golf team sits in fifth place out of 32 teams after day two of three at the Camp Lejeune Intercollegiate. The Pride led the field after day one on Friday with a ten under par, 270.

Greensboro followed up the Friday round with a 294 on Saturday. Ben Nihart shot a 70 and was followed by Joshua Hudgins at 71, Nick Peoples at 76 and Scott Novicki at 77. Kirk Mitchell rounded out the top five with an 82.

The top 16 teams in the field will play the Gold Course for Sunday’s final round. The remaining 16 teams will hit the Scarlet Course.
