  1. @KG…… Read your comment last night that you posted at 8:34
Re: Jalen was very selfish and a ball hog, new flash he is their Point Guard!!!!! Who else should have the ball in there hands!!! As far as being selfish he could get to the basket anytime he wants, but he was trying to get his 3pt shooters the ball….. As far as you saying Ty is selfish and a ball hog also and doesn’t have to worry bout sitting the bench because his dad’ s the coach…. He is just kid that can shoot lights out when he is on and that’s all he was trying to do play through it!! I’m sorry Andy because I’m sure you deleted his ingorant post, but it just made me I’ll when I read it!!!!! And couldn’t commit at the time because I was to into the game!!!!!!

  2. This is one of those cases where I totally agree with you…

The point guard is the toughest position on the court in my opinion…

I support Jalen Gavin, Ty Graves the Page coaches and all the Pirate players….

Have been following Ty Graves since 7th grade at Mendenhall and he is a super young talent…

Xavier Hill-Mais is only in the 10th grade but he had a monster game last night….

You can’t baby these guys cause you want them all to get better, but you have to support them and let them know that they can get better but again they are real young and the players and the fans are going to have to be patient….

I feel the same support for the Dudley kids and if they would have lost the shoe would have been on the other foot…

Have known and seen Sam Hunt since he was 7 or 8 years old and he and his Panthers are a class act and they aren’t acting, they are good…

We will continue to support all of the local players because they provide us with the best athletic entertaiment around…

Spent about a half hout at the McDonald’s on Cone at Battleground last night talking local sports….

This with the young employees….Reggie Dillard, PJ Hairston, Jasmine Gill, Josh Black, Remene Alston, Matt Millisor, Will Newman, Julius Brooks, Jackson Kent, James Summers, and many more…

Great kids and some great memories from their playing days….

  3. Don,t get me wrong they are both good players, but they tend to force shots. Me being at the game and sitting with parents, I was not the only one that felt that way. They just need to relax and let the game come to them. It was like watching 2 on 5. Dudley played great team ball and thats why they won. Page played good team in the 4th and that bout it. I really like the freshmen kid Sykes game though, very athletic. Sorry if I harmed anyone with my comments last night.
