  1. Watching NE girls win last night was one of the best games of the season. Its great to see kids turn the corner and believe in themselves.

  2. Congrats to the NEG girls….They have been working very hard with Coach Ramsey over the past couple of years…At least two wins now in their past three games…Beat North Forsyth back on Saturday too…

  3. Dang Southern Guilford girls allowed Northeast girls to whoop up on them! Whats going on with the girls program at Southern?

  4. WE THE NIGHTHAWKS SPANKED ANOTHER ONE! WHEN THE POLLS COME OUT WE HAD BETTER BE RANKED #1 AND NONE OF THIS TIED UP STUFF. AMANDA COFER IS PLAYER OF THE YEAR FOR ALL AREA.

  5. P.O.Y Candidates

    Amanda Coffer Northern
    Paris Kea Page
    Ronata Rogers Greensboro Day
    Imani Watkins Andrews

  6. Say Hoops. Help me understand how you are coming up with Player of the Year candidates? Have you even seen all of these teams play 1 or more games against good and bad competition? It seems you are just pull out the names that you already know.

  7. What makes a MVP or POY candidate? Scoring, rebounding, steals, assist, leadership or combination. This basically becomes a popular vote by fans because from a distance you are not paying attention to the dirty work other players may be contributing that created the fast break, helped get others open or create the belief that the team could win.

  8. They are the best players on winning teams. All teams will win or have already clinched conference championships. I have seen all these players play. Who was I missing?
