Dennis White reporting for GreensboroSports.com had an opportunity to stop by NorthEast Guilford High School with new Head Football Coach Jackson he stated that he is very optimistic and excited and ready to take on a long legacy of football history at Northeast High School.

Number of players including Varsity and JV as around 102. First game of the season would be August 30 against Southeast Guilford at home.

Practice schedule 5:30 to 8 o’clock. Top returning players to look out for would be at linebacker Kailn McNeil, Jordan McMillan, inside linebacker Aaron Matthews, defensive end John Fryer….

Team to beat in the conference Northen Guilford.

Scrimmage Games:Coach Jackson talked about the last scrimmage game against Winston-Salem Carver…Overall he was happy with some of the effort each kid put in, but also sees that there is some work in lot of areas that they are working on to be prepared for the first game of the season.

New Quarterback Leandra McGill will take control of the offense under new Head Coach Jackson.
