LaQuanda Barksdale Quick, who has established herself as the best player and coach in the history of girls’ basketball at West Forsyth, is leaving the school.
Mike Pennington, West’s athletic director, said he met with Quick and Principal Charles McIninch on Monday morning; Quick said at the meeting that she was resigning as a coach and math teacher, Pennington said.
