Wiggins is a Ben L. Smith graduate and played football for the Eagles, having graduated from Smith back in 2007 and then he went on to play and graduate from Elon University..
Wiggins was one of the top tacklers in Elon Phoenix football history and he led the team in tackles from his linebacker position…
The new coach at Smith has an extensive football background and now he will try and share that football knowledge with his teams as Smith High School and work to make Ben L. Smith a winning football program…..Wiggins seems to have done things the right way over the years and he has paid his dues along the way….
Former Smith football coach Antonio Kirkpatrick is now back on the staff at Dudley High School, a team he helped coach, prior to coming to Smith High School as the head man….
With the addition of Brandon Wiggins as the head coach at Smith High School, there is now only one coaching vacancy left in Guilford County, as we all now await the hiring/naming of the new head football coach at Northern Guilford High School….

Somebody was saying that the Havelock coach had been in talks with Northern Guilford, but he decided to stay at Havelock…
Heard at one time that NG was looking at someone up in Ohio and I wonder if that coach from the Western part of the state could be Coach Pursley….Maybe not, but he did leave here and head up west….Tuscola, after a brief stop at Brevard College….
