  1. HPCA (22-1) 10-9 over Westchester Country Day
HPCA scores 4 to win in bottom 7th. Heath Hopkins gets walk off RBI single for HPCA .
Timmy Fishfoght 2-2 with HR and 2 RBI
    Dylan Wilkinson 2-3 (2 doubles) 4 RBI
Luke Gesell 2 RBI single in 7th
Dylan Wilkinson gets win pitching the 4th through 7th

  2. Western Alamance 3 Rockingham 2
Rockingham pitcher Zarate carried 2-1 lead into top of 7th when tagged for 2 runs with two outs.
WA relief pitcher Matty Wells pitched 4 scoreless to get the win and Davis Brady gets the save.
Could have gone either way as it was a Good game from both teams.

  3. Good win for the SW Cowboys last night. Game was 0-0 going into the fifth. Ragsdale was clearly outgunned, but played really well up until the 6th when the wheels fell off. The Tigers are very young and seem to be in most games until late. Much better days ahead.

  4. I’m sure you HPCA fans read the HP Enterprise this morning and seen Westchester’s coaches comments about why they lost! Apparently it was too dark in the last inning he was saying and that’s why strikes weren’t being called as they were earlier in the game?? I have one question if it was too dark to call strikes and see the ball how did they hit the ball? Coaches sometimes you should just not say anything if that’s all you have. Sounds like it was a great game- but you should think before you speak. No crying in baseball! I don’t have a dog in this fight – I pull that other team in HP.

  5. I was at the HPCA game last night and the light really was not a factor. I was really shocked to read their coaches comments about “They were the better team”. WCCD played a good game and they have some really good kids on their team but if I were him, I’d worry more about pitch selection then light conditions. His 1st mistake was throwing HPCA’s #2 batter an 0-2 fastball. Anther problem was the error’s some of his fielders made. Error’s, walk’s and wrong pitches is what lost him that game, not light.

  6. Anybody got a score from last night’s varsity baseball game between NW Guilford & HP Central?

  7. Looked a lot of places and haven’t been able to locate the NWG-HP Central score from Tuesday….

    Anybody else had any luck?

  8. Northwest Guilford over High Point Central 6-4 from Tuesday has been verified and thanks for all the help that came our way in finding this score…

    Thanks,

    AD
