The Pirates took 4 of the 6 singles matches with number 2 singles player Jack Oldis knocking off the Catamount’s Alex Kin 7-5, 6-4. Henry Enochs from Page retired from his number 5 singles match with an injury in the second set, leading by a set, but down in set two 6-5 at the time of the injury. That along with a win at number one singles by Panther Creek’s Andrew Pickens gave the Catamounts some life heading into the doubles matches. With lots of room for error in the doubles matches, needing only one win to secure the championship, Page’s number 2 doubles pair Hardy Brown and Charlie Snipes closed out the match and championship with a 10-4 set win to clinch the championship.
