If we were going with a Defensive Player of the Week, and let’s go for that, with Steven Davis II, from Dudley High School…He put pressure on the Page High School receivers all night long, and he picked off one Page pass..One INT./interception for Deuce Davis, and he would be our Defensive Player of the Week…

If you have other players that you feel should be nominated, place their names, and part of what they did, in the Comment Box below…We hope to have some more game stats/numbers up here later on this afternoon…

More numbers from last Friday night:(If the schools posted stats on MaxPreps, we were able to get their stats…Most of our Guilford County Schools, have not posted stats so far this season, and we hope that they will choose to start posting their stats…We picked up some stats from game articles, but not many to work with there, but Joe Sirera had some very good numbers in his articles.)

  1. ouch never love for the Defensive players. DEFENSE WINS GAMES but always will give the O the clout.

  2. Send us some defensive names, and we can add them in…We need to get this defensive player discussion going….Thompson, Shaw, and Jarrell at Grimsley are some, plus we mentioned Davis at Dudley, and there’s also the D-lineman Pittman at Dudley, plus you have Alex McCalop at Southeast Guilford and would like to have more names added to the discussion….
