Many of our local teams have gotten off to a rough start here in the first part of the new 2021 high school football season, but as we study the overall process in the Rewind, the Ending is looking far better than the beginning….The teams are pushing on through, and sure it has been hard, but the end results have been positive, and things are moving forward, and there is no stopping the next round of games, we hope….

“The first quarter and a half, we played harder than them,” Bagamary said. “We have to find a way harder for longer. We’re going to break through the wall. We’re getting there and we’re changing the standard.” soooooo what standard are you changing? Oh is that you can score more than once in a game now compared to the spring?????? I would love to see the good ole page pirates score at least 18 points. I dont even need the extra points, just prove you can score 3 touchdowns in a game!!!!!! LOL, LOL, LOL

@page fan It’s a little tougher when teams are recruiting your players away than when you were recruiting everybody else’s players, isn’t it?
Lots of whining from Alma Pinnix in the spring when former Page players were helping Grimsley win a state title, but crickets from the Pirate ship when they stole six starters from Northern a few years ago by hiring Northern’s former recruiting coordinator. Difference is Grimsley’s coaches knew what to do with talent. The regime that walked the plank after the 2019 season ran the ship aground and it’s going to take awhile to get it back to where it can float again. Robertson and his guys can coach. They just don’t have enough talent to work with right now.
The problem isn’t coaching, it’s recruiting.
