The Bishop McGuinness Villains hosted Millennium Charter in the first round of the Northwest Piedmont conference tournament on Monday night. The Villains defensive intensity propelled them to victory as they held MCA to single-digit quarters in all four quarters. Bishop was led by four double-digit scorers Jackson Goins (13), Andrew Schrage (12), David Armstrong (11), and Scott Craven (10). The Villains will play the winner of Bethany Charter/NCLA on Wednesday night.
