Some of those notes from the SWG at Page JV Football game tonight, over at Marion Kirby Stadium…We had one of the best, if not the best PA/Public Address announcers on the mic tonight, and that would be Hank’s dad, Justin Scarboro…He did an outstanding job calling out all of that game info this evening…He actually sounded like Dave Polaski, another Ohio U Bobcat, up there in the Press Box..
Elijah Jones got an early big return for the Page Pirates…Page QB Hinson had a pass completion to Anthony Peele that set up a Page Pirate, first and goal…Then it was a three-yard run by the Pirates’ Mayhew for the TD…Pierson Murphy’s PAT kick was blocked and with 7:30 to play in the first quarter, Page leads SWG, 6-0…
Page kicker Garcia hits the end zone on his kickoff for a Touchback…
SWG gets a first down run, from RB Robert Orr…There was a Tackle for a Loss by the Pirates’ Bobby McCray, followed by a tackle stop by Anthony Peele…

High Snaps were killing Southwest Guilford all night long…After another tackle by Page’ Bobby McCray, Page gets s safety on SWG, when the Cowboys’ punter recovers his punt, in his own end zone…Page now leads SWG, 16-0, with 9:01 to go in the 2nd Q…Still all kinds of bad snaps plaguing the SWG Cowboys…Bad snaps also known, as Errant Snaps…

Page hits paydirt again just before halftime, when Peele takes the ball to the SWG two-yard line, on a 32-yard Peele run, and then Mayhew does the rest, with a two-yard TD run for the Pirates…Murphy’s PAT kick was good, with 45.9 until halftime, the score goes to, Page 29, SWG 0…

On the last play of the Third Quarter, Page sees QB Hinson go to Bell again, this time around on a 13-yard TD pass,, and after the PAT kick fails, Page is on top of SWG, 35-0…
Second Half it is Tillman on tackles for the Page Pirates…Anthony Peele and Daniel Sandoval playing hard, and getting into the SWG offensive backfield…Big tackles by SWG Cowboys Bryan Godfrey and Charlie Williams….
As we hit the 4th Q, the Page Pirates get a huge pick/Interception from Pierson Murphy….Hinson has a nice setup pass to Michael Bell, and it is Cato on defensive stop, that saves the play for the SWG Cowboys….
In the fourth quarter the Pirates’ backup QB, Aiden Evans takes off on 7-yard touchdown run, the Murphy PAT kick splits the uprights, and the score says:Page 42, SWG 0…Evans TD came with 6:58 left in the 3rd Q…
