  1. Maurice Andrews-Offense-Page
    Timothy Patterson-Defense-Page
    Braxton Veiga-Defense-Eastern Guilford

  2. Maurice Andrews-Offense-Page
    Timothy Patterson-Defense-Page

Quick note, Patterson has 6 INTs this season. Not 5.

  3. Insane to me how Trenton Cloud or Alex Taylor has not been POY once this season, yall crazy. Cloud is consistent and killing it out there and is a top ranked player in the state of NC
Trenton Cloud OFF for me Andy

  4. Grimsley’s Taylor is the least targeted receiver in guilford county. I’ve watched a couple games last and this year. One of the top players in the country as well.(Explained That).Cloud is a top receiver also I agree. NW opens up the offense more great job. Trent will continue to shine as he should.

  5. I said the same thing. I’ve been to a few grimsley games and Taylor doesn’t stand out bc he isn’t targeted much. Their offense makes a very talented player blend in. NW features their guy, Cloud. Even Dudley has thrown the ball a lot more this season and that’s saying a lot.

  6. Cloud is open runs a great route, reliable and has the best QB in Guilford County throwing to him. Not only that, NW offense is one of the best in the state. There is a few reasons why Cloud and Ballou are #1 in the conf and #’1 and 2′ in 4A. Cannot forget about Bristol Carterand Price Brown either, they open up man coverage for trenton.
    POW- Cloud off
    Ryan Debow-Def

  7. I watched the Grimsley and Northwest game and Taylor was open as usual. Outstanding route runner just as he was that game. Stats I knew it would come up with the NW fans but wasn’t a factor against Grimsley. Dudley has thrown more. Attmore knew something just saying.

  8. I don’t think Grimsley cares too much about individual stats. They worry more about winning games. That is why they are 8-0 and that is why they beat other teams that “feature” certain players. I mean, look at the northwest game…. What did NW offense do against Grimsley that night? Carter and Cloud combine for 8 catches and 76 yards. Where as Anderson and Taylor go 9 catches for 243!! College coaches don’t even look at these stats because they know they mean very little.

  9. CJ Neely Smith High School for your offense and Braxton Veiga of Eastern Guilford for your defense.

  10. Whirlie Nation sounds good but Coaches seem to think people come to see how much they love they play book. High School not complicated not the NFL. Kids do want to be known for team and individual accolades stop lying. If that was not so why do we even keep stats in the first place. You got stats for your own self you just posted.Even on this page as we speak. Truth be told NW has a better offense Grimsley has more talent. Let them loose Dean Smith with Michael Jordan.

  11. Yo Whirlie Nation, I don’t know whether Grimsley cares about individual stats or not, but I do know that they have an inept offensive coordinator!!! I have watched several of their games live this year, and it appears that he thinks he knows more than those colleges coaches you just spoke about. He has two WR’s on his roster that have multiple P5 offers, and doesn’t know how to use either one!! Furthermore, if he doesn’t learn quickly how to use his weapons appropriately, they will lose in the second round again this year!! Imagine That…..

  12. I never said NW is better than Grimsley or Cloud is better than Taylor or vice versa. I know College coaches do not care about stats. My point was these two guys have performed and i made my pick for the award based on that is all.

  13. Dudley is a running team, first and foremost and for them to have their QB listed is good, from what I’ve seen and been told he doesn’t play more than a half, maybe played 3 full games, I mean….do you want production or what?
