NG(8-0)/Wakefield(7-2)
End of First Quarter:NG 13, Wakefield 12…Halftime:NG 28, Wakefield 22…End of Third Quarter:NG 32, Wakefield 28…Final:NG 49, Wakefield 40

Northern Guilford scoring:Jadyn Newsome 20 points, Cristina Delisa 10, Skylar Fowler 7, Jasmine Harris 6, Lizzie Gram 4, Laurel Zlotkowski 2…
Wakefield scoring:Bagwell 13 points, Walke 10, Shaffer 6, McIntyre 4, Ritter 2, Harris 2, Hamilton 2…

Northern Guilford very strong in the post tonight, with Jadyn Newsome and Skylar Fowler combining for 17 first half points, and for the game, they put together 27 points in the paint/in the post…Hard to keep those two away from the basket/bucket…Cristina Delisa ran a good show out front manning the point, and NG got their usual steady game from Jazzy Harris, but Wakefield was really playing tight defense on Jazzy, and they recognized her importance to the Nighthawks’ game plan, right from the beginning, and they did all that they could to slow her down…Good NG support from Lizzie Gram, and she did a good job with ball movement against the shifting Wakefield defenses…

Northern Guilford travels to Southeast Guilford to meet the SEG Falcons on Friday night at around 6pm…..

  1. In the record for the opponent you have “Millbrook.” Did Northern play Wakefield or Millbrook? They’re two different schools.

  2. Not too bad really…I had Millbrook on the brain yesterday….To only have them in there one time is a miracle for me…Had them in there more, but found the other slips, before I hit post…One time, I’ll take it and got Wakefield back in there, one more time…

Raleigh Millbrook, Raleigh Wakefield, and here we go…Wakefield was the team on Thursday night, at Northern Guilford…
