SWG now at (6-0) on the season, with Jamestown and Southeast Guilford coming up next week…SWG very strong inside and outside, with excellent drivers and three-point shooters…Leading scorer for NG was Alderson, who played in the Fifth Quarter game, and ended up playing nearly the entire fourth quarter for the Nighthawks…

Northern Guilford’s Leena Mcfield could not be slowed down…SWG tried to double-team her, and she dribble right past the double-team, drove upcourt and hit a layup…She hit a lot of layups, nine to exact, plus one three-pointer, and five free throws…Sometimes she will stop herself with a turnover, but she doesn’t commit many of them…She is probably around 5’9/5’10, and the kid is very strong…Very advanced in basketball for her Middle School age, and this kid will be a big help to the Northern Guilford girls varsity team next season…I’m just thinking she is an eighth-grader, but not for sure…NG got a good effort from Smith inside, and the Nighthawks’ Morris hit three 3’s from the outside, so this NG girls group is not a one-girl team, but it sure helps to have someone like Mcfield around….Look forward to seeing what this kid does in the future…
