High School Basketball with Round Four of the NCHSAA Playoffs Tonight, and this will be the opening Round of the Regionals, and we have from our local area, Smith girls at West Rowan, the Smith boys are at home versus the West Charlotte Lions…Also from our area, we have the Bishop McGuinness girls at home against Cherokee, while the Bishop boys hit the road, to face Mountain Heritage….We also see the undefeated Reidsville Rams, the boys edition, they will be hosting the Hornets, from Salisbury…One more team, from just down the road that is still playing, those Randleman Tiger girls, who are home to meet East Burke…

Boys 3-A West:
#22 West Charlotte(14-13) at Smith(27-3) 7pm in the Bob McAdoo Gym, at Ben L. Smith High School…
Smith boys have won 17 straight games, dating back to a January 4 loss to the Southern Guilford Storm, 66-60…Smith over Hickory, back on Saturday, 69-62…West Charlotte coming out of a very tough 4-A/3-A Conference there in Charlotte…After squeaking out a 61-58 win over Franklin, in Round One of the playoffs, West Charlotte has topped Lake Norman Charter 80-54, and Northwest Cabarrus 86-58, to get here tonight…West Charlotte led in scoring by Chadlyn Traylor at 15.5 ppg, Ollie Alford 12.1 ppg, and Donovan Raymond at 11.0 ppg…One year ago, West Charlotte came to Ben L. West Rowan over Ashe County, 80-55, back on Saturday go to get here….Over West Charlotte, 70-21, in Round One, and Round Two tripped up North Davidson, 89-38…Beating teams by an average of 30-35 points per game, and closest game they had this season, was a 69-46 victory over North Rowan…A 23-point win in that one…Four double-digit scorers, and with balanced scoring, with Lauren Arnold leading them with, 15.3ppg…Smith past Pisgah, back on Saturday, 69-60…Round One Smith over Smokey Mountain, 71-53…Round Two Smith topped Northwest Cabarrus, 59-47…The Smith Golden Eagles have only dropped two games this season, one to Salisbury(24-3), and the other to Bishop McGuinness(25-4)…Leaders for Ben L.
