600AM WSJS:No games in the past, but now they air the Duke Blue Devils, who no longer have Bob Harris at the controls, so is there really any control…WSJS still has the regular Sports Shows, with Josh Graham, from 3-7 talking ACC Basketball in full detail….No more Adam Gold Shows, and that has hurt the WSJS numbers overall, according to the most recent Guilford/Forsyth/Alamance County trackings…This radio outlet, now owned by the Stu Epperson Family…Jeffrey Griffin now hosts the Morning Show on WSJS, and he is doing a great job, with his “Triad Today” morning Radio Roundup….

920AM WPCM: Now part of a Christian Contemporary Music Movement, with HOPE radio…Was a part of the Triad Sports Network for several years, but now owned by Chuck Marsh…
1150AM WBAG: All games on with the Tar Heel Sports Network. Jones Angell, Eric Montross and Dave Nathan at the helm. They will use the Duke Network for the Blue Devil games only…Joe Gray and his crew have been very steady, going this same route over the past several seasons….UNC and Duke are Here, with UNC getting first priority and Duke right in behind them, as they become available….Owner Joe Gray, ready to let the games play…
1200AM WSML:Chuck Marsh and LeAnne Petty crank up at this spot on the dial, with the Chuck and LeAnne Show, that used to air on 93.1 the Wolf….Tom Britt from WGHP FOX 8 is here with news…Used to be a part of the Triad Sports Network, with Dave Glenn and other sports men, but now pure Country Music, with “The Maverick”…Chuck Marsh, station-owner….
1230AM WMFR: Was a part of the Sports Hub, along with WSJS, WCOG, WPCM, WSML, but now WMFR is playing Red-Hot Country Music as “The Rebel”, and they are also on 104.5 FM, and are serving High Point, and other surrounding high pockets of the Triad…WMFR now owned by Chuck Marsh….
1260AM WKXR: Used to be with N.C. State, but that was as of late, and now no more…This is the sister station to 700 AM/106.1 FM WZOO, ‘The Zoo’….Busta Brown is the top draw on ‘The ZOO’….
1320AM WCOG:Used to be part of the WSJS Sports Hub, but now part of the WTOB Group, with Golden Music Hits from the past and zeroing in on the 60’s and 70’s Classic Hits, with more recently some 80’s hitting the WCOG charts…Station owned by Richard Miller…
1360AM WCHL: Tar Heel Sports Network…All games LIVE in Chapel Hill proper….This is one of your “Heritage Radio Stations”, once led by Jim Heavner and Woody Durham…UNC Tar Heels are here….The Tar Heel Sports Network featuring Jones Angell, Eric Montross and Dave Nathan, now at the helm…
1400AM WKEW: They carried the Wake Forest Sports Network from IMG/Learfield last season, but this season, WKEW switched and picked up the N.C. A&T Aggies(Spencer Turkin with the Aggies play-by-play)…The Bill Mitchell Family were the KEW station owners for many years, with Tom Mitchell serving as wagon master, and the Mitchell Family has moved on to another radio land…1400 and WSJS 600 AM, now owned by the Stu Epperson Family…
1440AM WLXN: Had been carrying Tar Heel Sports Network for many years, but now offering Spiritual Music from the JOY FM Network…The Gig Hilton Family ran/owned this station for many years, but those days are now in the rearview mirror…

1510AM WEAL:Now playing music from WBFJ, Christian Contemporary Music being simulcast into Greensboro, from WBFJ FM, at 89.3 on the FM dial…Was the Big Wheel Gospel Station for many years, with Alfred G. Richards, John Troxler, Gary Cannon, Joseph Level, all taking turns, at Spinning “The Big Wheel”….Now owned by the WBFJ Group, out of Winston-Salem, N.C.

98.1 FM WBRF Galax…..Stan Cotten and The Dinger/Mark Friedinger doing the announcing. Stan and Mark….WAKE FOREST is Here…This station is a favorite of many in the Triad, since they have that old Bluegrass/Country feeling to their musical message…Station owned by the Epperson Family…
98.3 FM the Hispanic LaRaza: They did carry the Duke games, but now only carry Duke, when John Wayne clips come on, from his days of crossing the border, and leading the charge of “The Night Brigade”…Makes for some excellent radio drama…Outstanding station, and a music leader, in the Hispanic Community….
105.7 FM WVBZ:N.C. State games only in the Triad…N.C. STATE is here….Gary Hahn and Tony Haynes with the call…Gary and Tony have been teaming up for many years with this broadcast team, and before they were doing the announcing, Wally Ausley and Gary Dornberg had the call of N.C. State Wolfpack basketball…This is one of those big-time IHeart Radio Stations…
