With the next pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, the Fill in the Blank Bandits__________________, select Quarterback Hendon Hooker, from Dudley High School in Greensboro, N.C.

Hendon, the Tennessee Volunteers’ QB from the 2022 season, is still waiting out there with his family in Summerfield, as we hit Day Two of the NFL’s 2023 Draft…Waiting and watching, and hoping to hear his name called tonight, as Rounds 2-3 will held, out there in Kansas City…

The Hooker Watch Party will continue in Summerfield, and let’s keep an eye on who will take Hendon Hooker, as everyone in our local community wants to see where this young man will land…

He landed a nice deal with Bush’s Baked Beans while he was still at Tennessee, and he has also been a spokesman for French’s Mustard…The Hookers are good cookers, and it doesn’t take long to crack open a can of those Bush’s Baked Beans, and you can bet that their plates will be loaded down with plenty of those beans, as the Draft gets under way, again this evening…

**********I remember being at the Randy Norris Jr. watch party for the MLB Draft, about four years ago, over at KickBack Jack’s in High Point, and that Draft time involves a whole lot of waiting and watching…..All you can do is just sit there, and wait for the next selection to pop up on the TV…You might go through the whole day, and maybe the next day too, and never hear your name get called…Randy eventually signed a Free Agent deal, and these days he is playing for the Rockers, over in High Point…Randy Norris still active, and he has a real love for the game, to still be doing it, and doing it the way he has been doing it…**********
