Where did it all go??? The 2023 season was upon us, and now the 2023 regular season is just about beyond us and gone…You look up now, and there are only two weeks remaining in this 2023 campaign…It is all almost past us, but we still have two weeks before us, and for teams like NEG(6-2), Smith(4-4), Page(4-4), WG(2-6), EG(7-1), Dudley(8-0), Grimsley(8-0), NWG(6-2), and a few other schools, they are really playing well now, and they want to see this thing continue, and for some, it will, but for others, it sometimes seems like just when you are getting cranked up, the season is poof/Gone…
Many of the teams we just mentioned will be seeing the Post Season at the end of October, with Grimsley, Dudley, Eastern Guilford, Northwest Guilford and a few others already writing their names on the Playoff Charts…But there will be a few others that will slip in there with Northeast Guilford and Page being on that list of those who hope their name will be called on Saturday October 27, when the NCHSAA Playoff Brackets are released…
Let’s relieve and try to release some of that Saturday Morning Rewind Tension that might be plaguing you this morning…

Also at Page HS last night, if not in phyical bodies, but their presence was felt, were Hank Scarboro and Robert Hogewood…Hank is always on top of his game and the game of tennis never eludes Robert….His dad Mike was one of the best tennis players around here back in his day, and we could all sure use one more blast of C-A-R-O-L-I-N-A KIA today….
That energy that Mike had will never be duplicated or surpassed….Mike could have given Jimmy Conners a run for his money, and that would be even after he had caught one of “Mike’s Big Ole Fish”….
