3)Northwest Guilford lost quarterback Tanner Ballou from last year’s squad, but the Vikings have really adjusted and retooled with Anders Mitchell doing a super job running the NWG ‘O’ and this NWG squad is very stingy on defense too…
4)Dudley Panthers are still finding themselves at QB this season, and with their two-headed monster of Jaquez Crawford and Braden Jeffries, Dudley has QBs that can run and pass…Dudley getting the best of both worlds, and if one of them ever goes down, the transition to the other QB fulltime, will be very minimal…Dudley going with QB1-A and QB1-B…
5)Northern Guilford is shaking the ‘Wining Tree’ and the limbs are low to the ground, and right where the Nighthawks want those limbs they are shaking and the production and results have been very favorable…NG ‘Hawks at (3-0) and looking for MO…Jaxson Kemp, Amare Akers, Dwight Hall, Reggie King, Kevin Willoughby, and others are like brothers from different mothers, and these kids are like one big Winning Family, with all the Nighthawks gathering around the table, and enjoying the “Winning Spread”…..
6)On our last point of the night here, we need to do a Shout Out for Coach Mitchell Jenkins and his High Point Andrews Red Raiders…Saw the coach in preseason, and he was excited about his team’s chances even though he just graduated his QB and his top running back off of last year’s squad…Andrews is on a roll, winning 28-26 over Bartlett Yancey, winning 50-0 over High Point Cetral, and then winning this week, 21-20 over the Thomasville Bulldogs…HP Andrews making the news in a Very Good way….

Mt .Tabor Destroyed Team Take Off . As a former Pirate I must say the staff should be ashamed of themselves how they are doing the Class of 25 and 26 players. Just threw them to the side for players that’s your 7on7 team. I understand building for the future but come on putting guys in that’s not remotely ready yet is crazy.
Lets ease up and wait for the end of the year with some of these comments…Stick it out with your teams, and remember got to be careful and don’t make these personal attacks….
The Page coaching staff have no idea what they are doing. We have a right to voice our opinions. There are players on the team that taking a backseat to players that should be on JV. If they are really prioritizing 7on7 against battle tested players, they should be ashamed themselves. What does the AD have to say. As fans, we have no idea what direction this coaching staff is taking. This coaching staff is atrocious to say the least.
Sadly I agree with the comments of the original poster. How about people stop trying to protect the coaches per your response to the original post and have a conversation with the kids of the 2025/2026 class that are going through this and the parents that have to sit back and watch the circus that continues to happen week after week! What sense does it make to “wait until the end of the season” when the damage will have already been done! I don’t see anyone reporting anything on Pages games except their continuous loosing streak! If the coaches don’t come to their senses then this unfortunately will be their season as a whole…loosing. All the while they appear to continue to pour into the “freshman” players while leaving their upper class’s men out her drowning. They would rather sink this team/season versus doing what’s in the best interest of the team and the kids!
Lol yall sound crazy. Page is playing their best players. Page has a young squad. I don’t know why anyone thought any different for these first 3 games. Reidsville, Dudley, and mt. Tabor are all top in the state. 0-3 was expected. Things will look different during conference play
Why are we waiting till the END of a season to change things around? We are already 3 games into the season and some things need to be changed. There’s nothing against these young guys but you have guys with experience on the sidelines not playing but these aau coaches don’t know what they’re doing. It’s really a problem when other schools and coaches see it except the own staff.

For football this year, Page should be in better shape when they get into conference play…Give it a while and let the juror have time to look it ALL over…
It is way too early to be calling out the coaches. Everyone knew we would be going 0-3 in these first 3 games. 3 very tough opponents and established programs. Also keep in mind that Page was only down 26-20 against Reidsville late in the 3rd quarter. The young guns looked pretty good… Most of the belly aching is probably about the senior QB not starting. If he started, the outcome of these 3 games would be the same. The freshman has better arm talent/mechanics, its really that simple. Let’s see how we fair in the conference. Also, I suspect Coach Hann will be given ample time to show improvement.. let the new coaching staff cook…
Keep in mind, it took Coach Kirby and Coach Gillespie a good number of years to get things going. Building a program does not happen over night. Patience……
AAU coaches ?? Wow. Andy maybe you should cut the comments on here. Because a lot of Dads and probably some Moms on here think their child is the best player on the team thats not playing. And you wonder why??? Thank God I don’t Coach anymore. How would you like to be Davis at Dudley and Brown at Grimsley , if they don’t win a state championship. You know what they will say ?? I don’t understand how this is a surprise to some people. The senior QB couldn’t even solidify the job last year either. This is TWO totally different coaching staffs telling you guys the SAME thing……
Let’s get the facts straight. The senior QB started every game last year until he was injured with high ankle sprain vs Western Guilford. He came back Grimsley but was still injured then started rest of season. They ran other QB on wildcat/read plays which he was real good doing. He was starter from day 1 but why are you trying to call out a kid and make false statements about a kid to justify your point.
Those of you that are upset with things, why don’t you go to talk to the coaches…You are not going to get anything changed here…Go talk to the coaches, and go face-to-face with them…This site can’t change what is going with your football team, and I am not the person you need to be calling out…You need to go see your coaches…
If want to get things changed, man up and go see your coaches….GreensboroSports is not your coach…We just have given you an outlet to talk about the games, and from what I am seeing, you don’t seem to apprciate that…
Go see the coaches on Monday, and let them know how you feel…I can see how you feel because you are letting it be known here, and that is not going to get you anywhere….We can’t take your messages to the school, you will have to do that…
Our job here is to look OUT for the coaches and players as best we can over the years, and not allow the fans to bury the coaches and players the website…If you can’t hang with that, then not sure why you would want to hang here….
