Wild game, and in the end, Villanueva-Estrada had to hit the Game-Winning FG twice…He missed from 27 yards out with 4.8 seconds left, but there was a Roughing the Kicker call on SWG, and after the penalty was marked off, Estrada drilled his Second-Chance attempt…FG from 20 yards away, was the WG WINNER…

I watched the game at Varina and its a sad situation by the principal to ask the band to leave. I am not a fan of either one but Grimsley was giving Varina the business all night. If Varina is #1 in Va Grimsley made them look like a team with no direction. They were out coached and out played by Grimsley the entire game. And that team didn’t look like a #1 team. Not taking anything away from Grimsley. Teams in the triad are better than them . And to top it off sore losers always complain about something when you’re not winning. Hats off to Grimsley and their players and fans that was embarrassing to do those kids like that after a 4 hour drive. Shame on you Varina . Don’t schedule them again.
Saw little kids wearing glasses and carrying their flutes, clarinets, trumpets, horns and other instruments out the stadium…Varina sure made the Grimsley Marching Band get marching…I saw video on News 2 with Chad Silber anchoring…What do others think of this move by the Varina officials/administration?????
Why did they kick Grimsley’s band ou oft the game?
There is evidently a rule in VA that the band can’t play during the other teams active play. If that is the clear rule dumb as it is…we deserves to be taken off the field if we violated it

If both bands are playing at the same time, the home and visitors’ bands, that can be chaotic……
Man let it go who cares about Grimsley Trash band. Varina played great against Grimsley it was a good game.
