I’ll say what no one wants to say: Dudley needs to make some adjustments to the program.They may still win 6A, but with the resources, talent, and culture at that school, there’s no reason they shouldn’t be a consistent Top 10 program in the state every year.
As good as Grimsley has been, I believe Dudley has the highest ceiling of any program in Greensboro if the right people are in place. You’re not going to win every game, but getting embarrassed shouldn’t happen—especially with the talent and resources Dudley has.
I watched the HighschoolOT interview with Cardinal Gibbons coach prior to the season and the interviewer skipped over Dudley when previewing Gibbons schedule. It took the coach to pay his respects to the program in order for them to be mentioned.
