State Women’s basketball top Virginia Tech Hokies to go (26-3/17-1) for the regular season…Elissa Cunane(Northern Guilford High School) led all scorers on the floor with 22 points, just one shy of a season high, for the senior Wolfpack women’s center.     NC State men’s basketball team gets one-year probation from Chelena Goldman, with YardBarker.com/www.yardbarker.com North Carolina State’s men’s basketball team has been put on a one-year probation as punishment for former assistant coach Orlando Early’s involvement in facilitating bribes between Adidas and a former five-star recruit, multiple sources reported on Monday. Additionally, former coach Matt Gottfried was handed a one-year show-cause order, and the school received a “$5,000 fine, scholarship losses for this season and 2022-23, plus some standard recruiting limitations,” according to CBS Sports.
