Wow, that game down at the Bill Slayton Stadium was close/tight last night….Had to be one of those, you know, “Games of the Week”…Rakem Hammock with that 90-yard kickoff return for the touchdown to begin the second half, and he is part of that Northwest Guilford Vikings crew, and then the Southeast Guilford Falcons crew kept battling back…That game is in my head this morning, and ‘The Rewind Button’ keeps rolling on…
And now it is time to hit the “Nitty Gritty”, with the Conference Championship Games due up next Friday night….Going to fun, but you have to think the favorites will take care of their business…And other games, we will see teams fighting for those last remaining playoff sports, just hoping that there will not be Halloween Hangover that makes them stay home for the playoffs…
That NWG-SEG game had the WXII TV 12 team, with Chris Peterson on hand, and they had this as their High School Playbook Game of the Week…Nice pick by the WXII team, with John Johnson and Chanel Porter in studio on Friday nights….Chanel and John as they say, both looking spiffy last night…Got get and you can see that Rakem Hammock run back, and that was one that Coach Randy Norris really liked, so CLICK HERE, and you are there…Right back on the Playbook field of play…
Nothing quite like the old memories there at the old Bill Slayton Football Stadium, the place where the old coach, Bill Slayton used to hold court…
From The Playbook, to The Fever, since we did not see the FOX 8 Football Frenzy crew until after the Yankees-Dodgers game was over, and who won that game??? Better go look that up, at ESPN.com later on…But Who Has the Fever??? Two/2 has The Fever, and they have Jaylen Gilkey, Logan Campbell, and even Chad Silber there in the house/studio with the Friday Football Fever highlights…They were big on Grimsley at Page, and rightfully so, that was a Big Game last night, but now the fans are yelling and clamoring for the Grimsley-Dudley game, and maybe rightfully so there too, it would be a Large One…But we have “The Fever”, and here it is for you, when you Click On Below….
CLICK HERE for The Fever…The Friday Football Fever, from News 2, and we need them to get Claire Fry in there too…
Up next is the FOX 8 Friday Football Frenzy, and it was due after the World Series baseball game from FOX….K.C., Danny, and Jenna lead you home with “The Frenzy”….Harder to get the best Frenzy read, when they come on later, but here we go…Click Below….
CLICK HERE for The Friday Football Frenzy, and you have to do a little navigating from this page…
Be sure to hit up Bryant Roche, from the News and Record and get all of current and latest Tweets on last night’s games, with his in depth coverage on the Grimsley Whirlies at the Page Pirates…Go here, @BRocheSports, and you are there…
CLICK HERE for Bryant Roche, and his Top Performers and Game Scores/Highlights from Friday night’s high school football games…Might be the old proverbial pay wall, but you might be able to go around it, or climb over it, but hard to run straight through The Wall…
Time to Listen Back to last night’s Northwest Guilford at Southeast Guilford game, and you can do that now, or any time in the next week, when you join us on GreensboroSports Radio….

*******This just in from our Western Guilford Hornets camp, and thank Mr. McCullen for bringing his best, from the Hornets’ Nest…
Another night for Friday Night Lights.
It was Senior night at WG, as the Hornets took on the Nighthawks. Had to take a moment and shot out to all the Seniors representing Hornet Nation. For the game, the Nighthawks score early and often winning 48-14. Elijah Hayes and Tim Baker were the scorers for the Hornets.**********
Holden Trent, a Page alum who played soccer at High Point U. died Saturday at the age of 25. He was with Philadelphia Union of MLS. Might deserve a mention.
