High School Football Saturday Morning Rewind and it is Playoff Time, it’s Playoff Time, it’s Playoff Time!!!

The ole Dudley Panthers’ PA/Public Address Announcer man Skip McCall used to say it best…It’s Panther Time, It’s Panther Time, It’s Panther Time…And he was right, and his beloved Dudley Panthers would go right to work…

And for all of us, huddled around the Saturday Morning Rewind sports desk on this Fall Saturday, “It’s Playoff Time, It’s Playoff Time, It’s Playoff Time”, and it is time for us to get back at it….The Saturday Morning Rewind, Volume 20, Edition 13…Twenty years we have been publishing this creation, and this is Week 13 for 2025…..

Lots of rewinds around, but this is The Saturday Morning Rewind, and always try to get done, before the FOX Big Noon Saturday crew comes in and pushes us out of the studio…Tough to navigate what we are trying to do, when we have the big names like Dick Saban, Clint Musburger, Dirk Wrongstreet, Monteith Jackson, Larry Danielson, and Chad Nessler looking over your shoulder…Those guys make me nervous when they are standing back there, and talking junk about me, behind my back…

So let’s get it in gear, right here, and right now, and we need to get ready and PLOW…Push Love Over War, you know what I mean man, now don’t you…We are a peaceful folk here, and we speak on Love, not War…We need to get in our hippie van, drive toward Japan, and welcome in our main man Dan, whoever he or she might be….

Well so much, for trying to make the new scene, as we crank up The Saturday Morning Rewind Machine, and we go all green, as times are getting lean…

We had Grimsley taking care of West Cabarrus in Explosive Fashion, and Mike Fanning has the flames fanning, and let’s in on the Fall Fashions on the Grimsley High School campus, and he tells us the Whirlies are wearing it all well, as their senior QB Faizon Brandon has returned, and it was a Fine Fall Faizon Fashion, and Mr. Cashion/Sonny Cashion would have liked this one, I presume…

Unfortunately we had to cancel our Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway for this year, as our Turkey Delivery Man Less Nessman was floored, after his helicopter was grounded during the US Government Shutdown caused by Chuck Slummer, and Less is More, and there were not enough air traffic controllers to keep Less in order…But, don’t you cry and go calling in the FBI, because we have the next best thing to the Turkey Giveaways, we have the Bryant Roche Holiday, and that means No Giveaways, but Bryant has his Takeaways, and Mr. Roche and his Three Takeaways include the Plays of the Day, and night…This is his good stuff, and you just can’t get enough, so Stuff Yourself and do overindulge in his early Thanksgiving Takeaways…

The FOX 8 WGHP Friday Football Frenzy didn’t air over the FOX airs last night, but it did run on MyFOX8.com, and they do have a great shot of Chance Crews, #0 from the Northern Guilford Nighthawks taking the pitch from the Asheville QB and taking it to The House for the TD…It was really not like an Interception, it was more like he just timed things out and took the handoff, and ran back all the way for the score…Had only seen this one in my dreams until now…CLICK IT and it will stick with you too…
